I’m interested in booking you for my wedding. How does Bridal booking work?

If you are interested in booking me for your wedding, you should proceed with booking a Bridal Trial first. Although this is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. After your trial is complete, you will have 24 hours to decide if you would like to move forward. Once given the green light, a makeup service contract will be sent to you for your review and completion via email. A nonrefundable 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. Please note that appointments are booked on a first come, first serve basis. Your date will only be confirmed after your deposit has been received.

 

What can I expect during my Bridal Trial?

We will have a consultation to get acquainted and discuss the inspiration behind your wedding makeup, wedding theme (if you have one), the dress and your overall makeup likes and dislikes. Then we will collaborate to create a bridal makeup look that matches up with all the elements of what we discussed. Pictures will be taken from different angles as reference and all products used will be documented in order to be readily available for your wedding day.

 

Do you service large Bridal Parties?

Absolutely! Depending on how many people there are and much time is allotted between your desired start time and finish time, I may be able to accommodate the entire bridal party on my own. If the window is small for time, I will hire another artist for express service.

 

Do you provide hair styling services?

I don’t do hair. Makeup is my strong suit and it is what I do best! However, I know plenty of talented hair stylists who I can team up with. Please note that their pricing and availability is on their own terms.

 

I have a pair of pre-owned lashes that I love. Will you be able to apply them for me?

 If you have unused lashes of your choice that you would like applied during your makeup application that is totally ok! They can be applied for an application fee of $5. However, for sanitary reasons I reserve the right not to apply used lashes.

 

Are lashes included in your makeup services?

Traditional strip lashes are available as an add-on service for $10. You can also upgrade to mink lashes if preferred.

 

What makeup brands do you use in your kit?

I use predominantly MAC Cosmetics; because this is the company I have worked for, for years and is the brand I am most comfortable with. Other luxury brands I have in my kit are Too Faced, Urban Decay, Inglot and Anastasia Beverly Hills.

 

What’s the difference between airbrush makeup and traditional makeup?

Both methods of makeup application deliver beautiful results. Traditional makeup is applied using makeup brushes and encompasses a full range of different formulations such as liquid, cream or powder. I will use my expertise to give you a flawless complexion with the formulation best suited to your skin type. Traditional makeup can last 8-10 hours. Airbrush makeup uses an air compressor, airbrush gun and airbrush foundation that is either water based or silicone based (I use silicone based). Airbrush makeup has a thinner consistency, as it needs to pass through the gun to produce a fine mist resulting in flawless coverage that is evenly applied. This method of makeup application provides a longer wear time (up to 14 hours) and is more breathable on the skin. 

 

How long does a makeup application take?

It takes approximately one hour for a full makeup application. For Brides it takes about an hour and 15 minutes. I like to spend a little longer glamming them up!

 

Will you travel out of town or for destination weddings?

Even if your wedding is in Timbuktu, I will still travel to you! For out of town weddings, please inquire further to learn more about travel fees. For destination weddings, the client must cover all travel costs and accommodations.

 

Are you able to return to the venue for touch ups or makeup look changes?

For sure! I have an hourly, half day or full day rate for return services. You can book Return Services through ONLINE BOOKING or CONTACT me to discuss specifics.
